Bambi
Bambi
She entered the grove
Like a fawn
Jumping around playfully
And embracing the innocence of nature.
She looks up to see the graceful warmth of the sky,
Yet she sees the sun going west.
The little fawn fell.
It fell in the gates of hell,
As she felt the cruelty that life has to bring.
Yet embracing the callous side of Mother Nature,
Prematurely, she weaned herself.
Crawled out of the lake of fire
And behind her
A bridge she built
There she was
A gracious stag
Carrying death on its back
And holding life in her womb;
Experiencing the turmoil of hell
And possessed by all the grief and sorrow life could give.
Now as a burning flame itself,
Light, she gives on the paths she takes
Like the moon and stars to the ones of the night
And a sun to the meadows that spread in the light.
